A dynamic, creative and experienced International Teacher, who has practised and taught Yoga for some nineteen years, gained certification here in the UK and during her many extended periods of intensive training in India. It was during one of these stays under the direction of Swami Mahadevananda at the Sivananda Ashram in South India that, through her steadfast pursuit of Yoga , Ambika Devi was honoured with the title of Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga, M.Y.). Ambika Devi openheartedly shares this wealth of knowledge, presenting classical form and philosophy in a practical, enjoyable and digestible format. With great enthusiasm she cultivates thorough understanding and aims high in teaching standards, advocating no less than the training of excellent Yoga teachers.

Catherine has been practising Yoga for 20 years and teaching for over 6. She gained the BSY Diploma in 2000, along with future diplomas that she felt to be complementary, i.e. Yoga Therapy, Corporate Stress & Alexander Technique, etc. Committed to ongoing personal training, Catherine continues to study many styles of Yoga so that she is still evolving and increasing her versatility. This affords her greater scope when adapting lessons to meet individual requirements. Catherine has previous experience teaching Yoga & meditation in therapy centres, community centres and in the corporate workplace to alleviate stress.

I have been a student of yoga for twenty six years now, and gained my first diploma in 2000, and have now been teaching for seven years. I believe that Yoga provides us with the tools for everyday life and living. As well as the tremendous health benefits, I am also particularly interested in the aspects of relaxation and inner peace that yoga can offer us, using it to combat the stress and strain of modern life. I also believe in the philosophy that yoga is for all irrespective of age or ability and try to incorporate these theories into my classes.

Maggie was first introduced to Yoga in the early 70's whilst undertaking her nurse training in London. Following health challenges of her own in the 90's Maggie's personal practise proved invaluable. She has now been teaching Yoga for over four years. Her continued interest in Yoga and it's therapeutic applications led her to study Yoga Therapy with the Yoga Biomedical Trust, London. Maggie is co-director of Synergy Yoga & Therapy Centre in Glenrothes, Fife, where she teaches Yoga and therapeutic programmes to groups and individuals.
