OUR PHILOSOPHY:
The fundamental focus of this course is to provide an atmosphere of trust
and support that provides a pathway for you realize your true potential,
enabling you to become a teacher of yoga capable of inspiring others to
follow a path of thoughtful enlightenment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years yoga practise
A letter of recommendation from your yoga teacher
300 words essay explaining your reasons for enrolment
Completed enrolment form
500 HOURS COURSE DIVIDED INTO:
240 study hours
A one week intensive on the Greek Island of Naxos
where we concentrate on supervised teaching
12 X 10 day training sessions held every Sunday of
each month at a location in the New Forest and from
0800>1800 hours
3 hours per week mandatory practise with the course
leader
Constituting a total of 360 contact hours
The course for 2007-8 is now full with a waiting list
for the next course with a start date due to be
announced in August 2008

9:00 ASANA WORKSHOP
11:00 YOGA PHILOSOPHY
1:00 LUNCH
2:00 ANATOMY /PHYSIOLOGY
3:00 STUDENT LED YOGA PRACTICE
4:30 READINGS FROM THE UPANISHADS/BHAGAVAD GITA
5:30 PRANAYAMA MEDITATION
6:00 END OF SESSION
For each session, the student will be required to
produce a 500 word essay on various aspects of Yoga
philosophy, undertake research into common physical
complaints and devise a schedule for undertaking a
Yoga class relevant to their stage of development.
