Yogahaven

Yogahaven was created in Brighton five years ago with the intention of providing a space for people to grow through the traditions of yoga, in a safe, friendly and non-judgmental environment. Our on-going aim is to maintain a centre of excellence. The foundations for this are based on our beliefs of giving quality yoga classes with compassion, safely and on personal level. We teach an average of 15 people / class.

Yogahavens teacher training course maintains this intention at it’s core. This course will provide you with a foundation to go on and teach quality yoga classes with confidence in a safe and compassionate way.

As the first ‘Hot Yoga’ teacher training available in the UK, we have worked hard to produce a thorough and authentic teacher training course. The course is 23 days, spread over 10 months. Structured as Two (separate) full-time week long intensives and four weekend modules at Yogahaven in Brighton.

You will be required to have on-going self practise, plus assignments and different projects to complete in between our meetings. You will need to be dedicated but you will also have enough time to discover and learn what it means to become a yoga teacher and gain the necessary skills and confidence to teach from your heart.

Course tutors: Allie Campbell-Hill is the founder of Yogahaven and has been practising yoga for the past 10yrs. She has taught yoga in studios in Vancouver, Canada and Pure Yoga in Hong Kong before returning to the UK to open a centre of her own. Chris swain is a prize winning graduate of the British School of Osteopathy where his training included a year of dissection at Guy’s hospital. He has been practicing yoga for 24 years and teaching since 1986.

Graduates of a School on the Yoga Register (YRS) are entitled to use the letters YRT (Yoga Register Teacher) and benefit from a discounted subscription rate of £25 for annual entry on The Yoga Register (www.theyogaregister.org).

Yogahaven teacher training course is also in the process of being accredited to comply with the International 200 hour standards of The Yoga Alliance, USA
