The Yoga College is offering a two year, 230 hour certificate course validated by the Independent Yoga Network and registered with the Yoga Register to ensure quality and integrity. The venue is Boreham, Near Chelmsford, Essex (2 minutes off the A12). There are 38 5-hour study days, normally on the second and fourth Sunday of each month excluding August and December. Numbers are limited to ensure personal attention. The tutor is Jeremy Jones, who has nearly a decade of experience teaching yoga (mostly full time) in a wide variety of venues and to a wide range of ages and abilities. He has tutored three British Wheel of Yoga foundation courses, many short courses and seminars and has taught yoga in four fitness centres, three colleges, two prisons and a number of private classes. He is also a writer and researcher on yoga and related matters. The emphasis on the course will be on practical teaching skills over a wide range of yoga and improving personal practice for greater insight, personal development and demonstration skills. A creative, joyful approach will be encouraged. The course contents can be adapted to almost any style of yoga. The style will be secular and non-sectarian. You will NOT be attending a religious course disguised as yoga or a yoga "boot camp". Written work will be kept to a minimum.
