From a chance,
but very important meeting of hearts and minds at the 2004
Yoga Show, independently-minded teacher trainers decided to get
together and offer a creative response to the Fitness Industry’s
attempt to define acceptable Yoga training. And, happy surprise,
these creative and heart-led individuals discovered friendship
as they shared their commitment to embrace a range of teaching
styles and approaches to light the lamps of Yoga in the world
around them. |

The site (and our companion site: www.independentyoganetwork.org)
contain a wealth of in-depth reflections (by many of our Founder
Members) on the whole debate on the future of Yoga. All these
articles have A4-formatted, printer-friendly options at the
press of a button (see ‘Printer Friendly Version’
above the article displayed in the double column). You can
also, quickly and easily, send a copy of an interesting or
appropriate article to an important contact with our ‘Mail

Registration - If you
are a Yoga Teacher then not only show your support for the
very important and valuable work we are doing, but get yourself
on the hottest register this side of the Pond! We offer the
only genuine home to a large range of teachers, some of whom
would not necessarily be acceptable to the Fitness Industry
but are nevertheless excellent teachers – you know who
you are! |
